Kroger is offering same day ClickList service in 21 locations

Just in time for the holiday rush, Kroger Mid-Atlantic announced on Friday that its online-ordering service, ClickList,  is now offering same-day ordering and pickup as an option at the service’s 21 locations in Virginia. Plus, the grocer is waiving the service fee at certain times through the end of the year.

Customers wanting same-day pickup where ClickList is offered will need to place their orders at least four hours ahead of the scheduled pickup time. Previously, orders needed to be placed before midnight the day before their scheduled pickup.

The 21 locations are in Hampton Roads, four stores; Richmond, 10 stores; Charlottesville, one store; Lynchburg, two stores; Roanoke, three stores; and Blacksburg, one store.

“We continue to hear from our customers … that ClickList is saving their time and making their lives easier,” Anne Jenkins, a spokesperson for Kroger’s Mid-Atlantic Division, said in a statement.

In addition to same day ordering, the $4.95 ClickList service fee will be waived for customers through Dec. 31 for orders scheduled for pickup on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

“We see how busy our customers are during the holidays and wanted to find a way to say thanks by saving time and money by waiving the service fee,” said Jenkins. There is no limit on the number of orders eligible to receive the discount between now and Dec. 31.
