In 2024, Schelberger returned to Towne Insurance to take her current leadership role, where she leads growth across Virginia’s Peninsula region. From 2020 to 2023, she worked with the insurer as a commercial marketing coordinator before moving to Berkley Mid-Atlantic Insurance Group as a business development manager. Schelberger, who has a master’s from Boston University, serves on the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia’s board and chairs its young agents committee.
GREATEST PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT: Stepping into a leadership role where I’ve been trusted not only to guide teams but also to mentor emerging talent in the insurance industry.
WHERE I SEE MYSELF IN 10 YEARS: I see myself continuing to grow as a leader in the insurance industry, mentoring others, driving innovation and helping shape a more inclusive and collaborative future. My son is 7 now, and as he grows, I hope to model for him what it means to lead with purpose, balance career and family, and stay grounded in values like service, learning and connection.
