Rising from an assistant project manager to director of preconstruction over the past 11 years, Pizzano helped transform his family’s Alexandria firm by building its preconstruction department into a core business unit responsible for more than half of annual revenue. He leads estimating strategy, client advisory services and business development, and last year helped generate approximately $60 million in revenue. He also serves on the board of The Joey Pizzano Memorial Fund, supporting employment and recreation programs for adults with disabilities.
SOMETHING SURPRISING ABOUT ME: I won the election for student body president at Gonzaga High School as a write-in candidate. I was not allowed to give a speech, hang posters or have my name on the ballot, but won the election in a landslide after a viral online campaign.
WHERE I SEE MYSELF IN 10 YEARS: Hopefully fishing more, working less and spending more time with my family.
