CACI International completed the largest acquisition in its 51-year history on Friday. The Arlington-based company acquired McLean-based Six3 Systems Inc. for $820 million. The purchase price is subject to the net working capital adjustment.
Chicago-based private equity firm GTCR was the seller.
Six3 provides services and products for national security agencies and Department of Defense missions. The company employs 1,600 people around the world. Six3’s 2013 revenue is expected to be about $470 million.
CACI provides services for national security missions and for intelligence, defense and federal civilian customers. The company employs almost 16,000 workers in 120 offices worldwide.
According to a news release, the acquisition will expand CACI’s cyberspace market and build on its C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) and intelligence markets.
