As head of Virginia’s third largest law firm, Fowler leads more than 400 employees, including 360 in the firm’s state offices, and he is also busy serving on several regional boards, including the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges and RVA757 Connects.
A graduate of the University of Virginia and its law school, Fowler joined Williams Mullen more than 30 years ago and is a highly regarded litigator who has made Virginia Business’ Legal Elite list every year since the project began in 2000. He has worked on cases involving banking, commercial litigation, products liability and insurance disputes. In 2015, Fowler was chosen CEO and president of Williams Mullen, after having led the firm’s litigation section.
