Bethesda, Md.-based Lockheed Martin Corp. has completed its acquisition of Fairfax-based Zeta Associates Inc.
Zeta, which was founded in 1984, creates technology used in national security missions.
In addition to its Fairfax headquarters, the company has an office in Denver. Employees also are stationed at customers’ locations.
The acquisition was announced on June 30. Financial details were not disclosed.
Zeta will become a Lockheed Martin subsidiary in the company’s space systems business area.
Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company employing approximately 113,000 people.
The company’s net sales for 2013 were $45.4 billion.
