Amazon Web Services, a business unit of Amazon.com, has opened a new office in Herndon, according to the Washington Business Journal. Located at 12900 Worldgate Drive, the office expands Amazon’s presence in Northern Virginia, where it sells cloud services to business and federal government clients.
When the company announced the new office in May, officials said it would add 500 new jobs in the space.
