Fairfax-based Virginia Tire & Auto has hired its first CFO.
Kevin Whitton has been tapped for the role. He was most recently CFO at Cambridge Finance Holdings, a large Burger King franchisee based out of Memphis, Tenn.
Virginia Tire & Auto provides automotive maintenance services.
The company opened a store in Chesterfield, its first outside of Northern Virginia, in January 2019. It also opened a facility in Vienna in late March. Construction is underway at the store in Herndon, slated to open this fall, and the Tysons location, scheduled to open by the end of the year.
The new store openings will bring the company’s total stores to 17. Each new location will hire about 20 people.
Virginia Tire & Auto opened its first store in 1976.
