Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer has completed a 9,252-square-foot lease with Texas Roadhouse in the former Old Country Plaza at 3940 Plank Road in Spotsylvania County. This will be the first location in the Fredericksburg area for the national restaurant operator and its 12th property in Virginia.
Based in Louisville, Ky., Texas Roadhouse has more than 400 locations in 48 states and 2 countries.
The restaurant said its opening will create about 200 new jobs. Construction is under way, and the company plans to open the restaurant before the holiday season.
According to Thalhimer, Texas Roadhouse is investing $1 million to completly renovate the interior and exterior of the space.
