Pyramid Systems will move headquarters to a new location in Fairfax

Pyramid Systems Inc. is moving it headquarters from 9302 Lee Highway to Prosperity Metro Plaza in Fairfax.

The company, which provides consulting and software engineering solutions to government and commercial clients, has signed a 23,379-square-foot, full-floor lease.

“We recognized the need for a new corporate headquarters location that could accommodate continued growth in our business and provide exceptional working environment to our employees,” Jeff Hwang, CEO and cofounder of Pyramid Systems Inc., said in a statement.  

According to Hwang, Prosperity Metro Plaza was the most attractive option because of its central location and multiple transit and transportation options, which include a walking-distance location from the Dunn Loring Metro station.

The project’s owner is First Potomac Realty Trust, based in Bethesda, Md. First Potomac acquired Prosperity Metro Plaza buildings III and IV in late 2011 in a joint venture with the Coakley family.  The buildings are located adjacent to the Metro station in Merrifield, a growing mixed-use, transit-oriented community.

Built in 2001, they are primarily leased to the U.S. government and government contractors.  According to First Potomac, the project is about 96.6% leased.

Josh Masi, Matt Bundy and Jeanette Ko with Transwestern represented First Potomac in the transaction while Eddie Saa and Tim Jacobs with DTZ, and Paul Carney with Transwestern, represented Pyramid Systems.
