Leidos hires new SVP and chief product officer

New role will lead contractor's health sector

Reston-based government contractor has hired longtime executive Amy Wykoff as and .

A company spokesperson said the chief product officer is a newly created role within Leidos’s health sector and that Wykoff began in the position on May 4.

Wykoff most recently served as chief product officer at Nomi Health and previously held the same role at Merative. She also spent several years at IBM Watson Health, where she led product strategy for data, analytics and care management offerings. Earlier in her career, she held product leadership roles at Oracle and Curam Software.

As chief product officer, Wykoff will be responsible for defining and supervising the health sector’s product prioritization, innovation and lifecycle management, and she will work across engineering, growth, marketing, finance and supply chain teams to bring new products to market.

Leidos Chief Technology Officer Theodore Tanner Jr. wrote on LinkedIn that Wykoff will work with Health and Civil Sector President Elizabeth Porter to expand the company’s profit and loss profit-and-loss performance.

According to Leidos’s website, the company’s health sector provides medical examinations, diagnostic testing, disability evaluations, independent medical exams, occupational health services and case management solutions. The sector works with more than 15,000 providers and more than 90 clinics, conducts 2.8 million exams annually, and supports active duty service members, veterans, government employees and civilians across the U.S. and 44 countries.

Leidos employs more than 50,000 people worldwide and reported $17.2 billion in revenue for the fiscal year ending Jan. 2. for its most recent fiscal year. Its health sector has roughly 4,000 employees.
