Richmond-based menswear brand Ledbury will soon be offering custom shirtmaking services.
The made-to-measure shirtmaking services will first be available May 1-10 at Ledbury’s New York City pop-up shop at Cole Haan SoHo. The service will be offered in Richmond on an ongoing basis starting May 15.
“The addition of made-to-measure services gives us another channel to support our continued growth,” Paul Watson, Ledbury cofounder
and chief operating officer, said in a statement. “Our made-to-measure program will be an important element of our retail expansion and will be featured in new retail stores and pop-up shops, a major area of growth in the next 24 months.”
For made-to-measure, an existing pattern is tailored to a customer’s size. In a made-to-measure appointment, Ledbury’s in-house specialists will take up to 20 measurements and walk customers through fabric, collar, cuff and monogramming options, then place an order that will be delivered five weeks later.
Shirts will be crafted with fabric from one of Ledbury’s Italian mills, Thomas Mason. Pricing starts at $185 per shirt.
Customers can book made-to-measure appointments by visiting www.ledbury.com, emailing [email protected] or calling customer service at 888.233.1942.
