ICF International names vice presidents for aviation and aerospace business

ICF International, based in Fairfax, has named vice presidents for its aviation and aerospace business.


 Stephen Van Beek will work from Fairfax while Dennis Cary will be based in Chicago.


Van Beek has served as executive director at LeighFisher Inc. where he managed aviation, surface transportation and multimodal transportation policy and industry strategy. He also  also been president and CEO at Eno Transportation Foundation and executive vice president at Airports Council International. In 1999, Van Beek also served as associate deputy secretary and director of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of Intermodalism.


Van Beek serves as senior transport advisor to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and is a past member of the Federal Aviation Administration’s Management Advisory Council.


Most recently, Cary was an independent management consultant serving several airline clients along with aviation consulting firms. He also has held various roles with American Airlines including senior vice president, chief marketing and customer officer; vice president of revenue management; president of the AAdvantage frequent flyer program and managing director of sales and marketing.
