Fortune 500 global IT company DXC Technology announced Wednesday that it has appointed Anders Lange as chief procurement officer.
In the role, Lange will lead the Ashburn-based company’s global procurement function, where he will spearhead transformation initiatives, including expanding artificial intelligence adoption to streamline processes and drive growth. He will report to James Walker, DXC’s chief administrative officer.
“Anders brings extensive experience in global organizations and a proven track record of delivering results,” said Walker in a statement. “His expertise in transformation leadership, operational efficiency, risk management, supplier performance improvement and cost savings will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our procurement organization.”
Lange has more than 15 years of leadership experience in procurement and supply chain management. He most recently served as global head of procurement at Bloomberg, where he oversaw procurement and supplier management. Before that, he held procurement leadership roles at LEO Pharma, Diageo and Carlsberg Breweries and was a guest lecturer at Copenhagen Business School.
