Columbus, Ohio-based DSW Inc. plans to open a new store in the Richmond area on April 7.
The 15,000-square-foot store will be in the Shops at Willow Lawn shopping center in Henrico County.
The store is expected to stock 21,000 pairs of women’s and men’s shoes.
DSW has two other Richmond area stores, in Midlothian and Glen Allen, according to its website.
With the opening of the Willow Lawn store, the company will have 19 Virginia stores, with other locations in Northern Virginia, Hampton Roads and Charlottesville.
DSW operates 473 stores in 42 states and the e-commerce website dsw.com. The company also supplies footwear to 384 other locations.
