Lowham’s office has been involved in several record-setting transactions in Northern Virginia, where the company has almost 350 associates in brokerage offices spanning the commonwealth’s horse and wine country, as well as Old Town Alexandria, Arlington and McLean. Among their sales were the $45 million McLean estate formerly owned by Jim Kimsey, the late co-founder of America Online, which sold in 2020, and the $43 million sale of AOL co-founder Steve Case’s McLean home in 2018.
Lowham, who joined Sotheby’s in 2011 after serving as executive vice president of West Group Management LLC, serves on the executive committee for Bright MLS’ board, is chairman of the board for D.C. Region Teach for America and is an advisory board member for Inova Schar Cancer Institute.
