Schoppmann’s first job was selling beach supplies at her uncle’s store in Ocean City, New Jersey. Today she’s a leader in a commercial real estate company that earned $27.7 billion
in revenue last year and manages more than 125 million square feet of office space in the Washington, D.C., region.

In addition to being president of CBRE’s mid-Atlantic division, the D.C. metro region’s second-largest property management company, Schoppmann serves the company’s global Executive Inclusion Council. She also serves on the Federal City Council’s leadership committee and joined the Economic Club of Washington, D.C.’s board in July.

Announced in June, CBRE signed a lease at Boro Tower, a 20-story office building in Tysons, where it will relocate in 2023 from its current office in McLean.
