Georgie Brophy, the former director of strategic growth at Fairfax-based General Dynamics Mission Systems, has been named director of business development for Reston-based not-for-profit corporation Noblis’ space systems portfolio, Noblis announced Thursday.
A Booz Allen Hamilton alum who has worked on several NASA projects, including leading the Goddard Space Flight Center’s Hitchhiker Program, Brophy is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. She has also supported satellite mission operations for NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
