EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, BRANCH BUILDS, HENRICO COUNTY
Robinson worked for more than 23 years in the Virginia market for Rhode Island-based construction company Gilbane. In roles ranging from project engineer to senior project executive, Robinson helped renovate some of Richmond’s most iconic buildings, including the Virginia State Capitol, Altria Theater and Carpenter Theatre.
In 2023, Robinson joined Branch Builds, the commercial construction division of the Roanoke-based, 100% employee-owned firm, as senior vice president of operations. In less than two years, he was promoted to executive vice president. In this role, he provides strategic and operational leadership for one of the Branch Group’s most important business units with a team of about 500.
A graduate of James Madison University, Robinson has built deep expertise in preconstruction strategy, risk management, project controls and field operations. He is known for his ability to lead high-performing teams, align diverse stake-
holders and drive results. Robinson is a member of the legislative committee for the Associated General Contractors of Virginia.
