The Richmond Marriott Short Pump in Henrico County has a new look.
Following a $10 million renovation, the hotel, located within the Innsbrook Corporate Center, held a grand reopening last week.
Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners, a commercial real estate company located a block away in Innsbrook, acquired the hotel in June 2014. CommonWealth Lodging, an affiliate of Lingerfelt and operator of the hotel, oversaw the multimillion-dollar renovation over the summer. What was formerly known as the Richmond Marriott West is the only full-service hotel in the 8 million-square-foot, mixed-use office park located off West Broad Street. It originally opened for business in 2001 and attracts many business travelers.
“We are thrilled to introduce the new Richmond Marriott Short Pump Hotel to guests and neighbors and encourage them to experience our reimagined amenities …” General Manager Joel Fuller of CommonWealth Lodging, said in a statement.
Property enhancements include 234 updated guest rooms with deluxe bedding, 55-inch, flat-panel televisions and free Wi-Fi access. Nine suites and 30 Stay Well rooms, outfitted with air purification showers and vitamin-infused showers, are also available, with the wellness rooms $30 more than regular rooms.
On the hotel’s main floor, a new MClub lounge provides a space where guests can eat and connect. The Greatroom restaurant offers traditional American dishes for breakfast and lunch and a cuisine with a southern flair for dinner. Craft spirits and signature cocktails are available at the new Bourbon Bar.
For guests who value fitness, there’s an indoor pool, a fitness center and a fitness trail through Innsbrook’s park and lakes.
The Richmond Marriott Short Pump has five event rooms, and nine breakout rooms, offering more than 8,000 square feet of meeting space.
