Jeff Shell exits as president of Paramount Skydance amid legal disputes

April 8 (Reuters) – is out as president of , Deadline reported on Wednesday.

Vegas gambler and FBI informant had accused him of breaking a promise to develop a music show and sued him for $150 million. Last month, Shell had filed a countersuit against Cipriani alleging and , the Los Angeles Times reported.

Shell was fired in April 2023 as chief executive of amid allegations of inappropriate conduct with a female reporter, according to Deadline.

His removal from Paramount comes after weeks of legal wrangling following allegations of indiscretion, Deadline said.

Previously, law firm appeared to have cleared Shell of Cipriani’s claim that the executive had leaked confidential and potentially explosive information, according to the report.

Shell became president overseeing day-to-day operations when completed its merger with Skydance Media last year.

Paramount did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
