Williamsburg country club names general manager and chief operating officer

Two Rivers Country Club at Governor’s Land in Williamsburg has named Charles Torrance general manager and chief operating officer (COO).

He assumes his new role on Sept. 17.

Since 2013, Torrance has been the general manager/COO at Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich, Conn.

He previously held leadership positions at Trump National Golf Club in Northern Virginia, Aspetuck Valley Country Club in Weston, Conn. and Hampshire Country Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y.

Torrance holds a bachelor’s degree from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
