McLean-based public relations firm W2 Communications announced Wednesday it has named Christie Cox chief operating officer.
In the newly created role, Cox will manage day-to-day operations for the firm as it expands and enters new markets. She also will lead corporate marketing initiatives at W2 Communications, which provides public relations and marketing services for technology companies.
Her communications career spans more than 20 years and includes roles supporting companies like HighPoint Global, Computer Sciences Corp. and HP in areas such as corporate communications, marketing and crisis management.
W2 Communications has offices in McLean and San Francisco.
