The Virginia Port Authority has purchased an 84,358-square-foot industrial property situated on nearly three acres in Norfolk for $3.1 million. The seller was Financial Way Realty.
According to Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer Inc., which announced the sale, the authority plans to use the building at 8031 Hampton Blvd. for port-related uses. It was previously used by a food broker for the military.
William Throne and Robert M. Thornton of Thalhimer handled the negotiations on behalf of the seller.
