Falls Church dentist elected president

The Virginia Dental Association elected new leadership at its annual meeting in Williamsburg on Oct. 5 and Dr. Scott Berman of Falls Church was elected to be the group’s new president.
The 4,000-member association is affiliated with the American Dental Association and provides continuing education, advocacy, practice support for its member dentists.
Along with Berman, Dr. Cynthia Southern of Pulaski, was elected president-elect, Dr. Zaneta Hamlin, of Virginia Beach, as secretary-treasurer, and Dr. Abby Halpern, of Arlington, as speaker of the house.
