Virginia Business Publications LLC has named Hunter Bendall vice president of sales, a new position. Bendall, a longtime advertising sales manager for the magazine, will have operational and personnel management responsibility for the company’s advertising sales team. He will oversee sales efforts in the company’s Richmond, Norfolk and Roanoke offices.
“As our sales team has grown over the past year, it has become clear that we can benefit from more hands on day-to-day sales management,” said Publisher Bernie Niemeier. “ Hunter Bendall’s experience with the magazine, including being hired as its first sales person in 1986, makes him uniquely qualified to take our company to the next level of growth. Hunter has been instrumental in the long-term success of Virginia Business, as well as Roanoke Business, our new publication launched in July 2012.”
Bendall, a native of Danville, resides in Richmond and is a graduate of Hampden- Sydney College.
Virginia Business Publications LLC is a Richmond-based, independently owned media company publishing monthly print magazines, as well as statewide digital products.
