Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau has named Todd Bertka vice president of convention sales and marketing, effective Nov. 25. He will oversee all aspects of meeting and conventionsales, sports marketing and convention services teams for the bureau.
Bertka most recently served as vice president of sales and service for VisitGreenvilleSC. Before joining the Greenville Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2009, he was associate director of sales for the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau. Bertka also has worked in sales for various organizations, including the Hawaii Convention & Visitors Bureau, Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Bureau and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
