Mary Doswell has been named president of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Engineering Foundation Board.

She is senior vice president for retail and alternative energy solutions at Dominion Virginia Power.

Her term officially began on July 1.

Doswell served on the School's Board of Trustees from 2012 to 2013.
