Herndon-based government contractor Valiant Integrated Services will provide food distribution services to land-based military establishments, embassies and U.S. Navy vessels at ports in the southern Arabian Peninsula and East African nations under a contract worth up to $530 million, the Pentagon announced Feb. 10.

The firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quality contract has an ordering period end date of Jan. 18, 2026, with no option periods. Valiant was among eight companies to bid on the project, and it has been the prime vendor for the program since 2017, the company said in a news release. Work includes procurement, warehousing and food distribution across 26 countries in the U.S. Central (CENTCOM) and Africa (AFRICOM) command areas of operation, including the United Arab Emirates, Djibouti, Kenya.

“Valiant is proud to continue our longstanding operations as a subsistence prime vendor supporting U.S. military forces worldwide,” Peter Capwell, Valiant’s senior vice president and general manager of mission support, said in a statement.  “This award expands Valiant’s position as a leading provider of food distribution services across CENTCOM and AFRICOM.”
