Regency Centers, a national owner and operator of grocery-anchored shopping centers, announced two new retail tenants for Gayton Crossing in Henrico County.
Mango Salon, in business in the Richmond market for 11 years, will open its third location in June in the 160,000-square-foot shopping center.
Also, a space for a new restaurant, Hutch Bar & Eatery, is under construction and is slated to be ready by April 1. This will be the third concept restaurant by Josh and Jessica Bufford in the Richmond market. They also are the owners of Toast and Estilo in The Village Shopping Center in Henrico.
Gayton Crossing, on Gaskins Road, includes a blend of national and local retailers. Anchored by a Kroger supermarket, other tenants include Starbucks, Jos. A. Banks and Revival Home Furnishings.
“It’s important that you create a unique merchandising mix for every center,” Rich Sutphin, vice president and regional officer for Regency Centers, said in a statement. “This location serves a giant community base, and we want to make sure that their lifestyle and dining options are reflective of the wants and needs of the area.”
James Ashby IV of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is the exclusive leasing representative on behalf of Regency Centers, which also owns Hanover Village Shopping Center and The Village Shopping Center.
Regency Centers, based in Jacksonville, Fla., has a portfolio of 322 retail properties with more than 43.1 million square feet.
