Trex Co. Inc. has appointed Michael F. Golden to its board of directors.
Golden was president and CEO of Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. from 2004 until 2011. He is still co-vice chairman of the company.
Golden held executive positions at Kohler Co. from 2002 until he joined Smith & Wesson. He has also worked for Stanley Works Co. and Black & Decker Corp.
Golden also serves on the board of Infinity Resources Holding Corp.
Trex also announced that William F. Andrews will retire from the board of directors May 1, 2013. Andrews has been a member of Trex’s board since the company’s initial public offering in 1999.
