Transwestern has been retained by First Potomac Realty Trust as the exclusive leasing agent for Prosperity Metro Plaza (formerly MetroPlace III and IV), two seven-story, Class A office buildings in Merrifield. Altogether, the buildings at 2675 and 2677 Prosperity Ave. offer 325,328 square feet.
“We are excited for the opportunity to work alongside First Potomac Realty Trust in reintroducing this project to the brokerage and private tenant community,” Matt Bundy, senior vice president of Transwestern, said in a statement. “Prosperity Metro Plaza has remained very well occupied since its initial lease-up due to the immediate proximity to the Dunn Loring Metro and Interstate 66 visibility. In addition, the delivery of an already commenced mixed-use development on the metro site to include 628 multifamily units along with 65,000 square feet of retail … only further enhances this well-located Class A project.”
Constructed in 2001, both 2675 and 2677 Prosperity provide tenants with a covered parking deck an on-site fitness facility, conference facility, café and landscaped courtyard.
The buildings are within walking distance to hotels, retail and residential communities, offer visibility for signage from I-66 and accessibility from Interstate 495, Route 50 and Gallows Road.
