Trade program graduates increase exports 26 percent

Thirteen companies from around Virginia have increased their exports an average of 26 percent, Gov. Ralph Northam announced Thursday.

The companies have graduated from the Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program, which helps Virginia companies who want to grow their business through international sales. VALET now was 254 graduates.

“As we work to diversify our economy, helping Virginia businesses expand into international markets is more important than ever,” Northam said in a statement.

The companies include:

  • 22nd Century Technologies, Inc. (Fairfax County)
  • Apptech Solutions (Roanoke County)
  • Eiden Systems Corporation (Albemarle County)
  • Global Sales Inc. (City of Chesapeake)
  • Grandwatt Electric Corp (City of Suffolk)
  • Magnets USA (City of Roanoke)
  • Nedia Enterprises, Inc. (Loudoun County)
  • New Century U.S. (Arlington County)
  • Quality Transportation Services Inc. (Hanover County)
  • RMGS Inc. (City of Virginia Beach)
  • TASC Management Corp. (Loudoun County)
  • Technologists Inc. (Arlington County)
  • TREX Co. Inc. (Frederick County).


Currently, the VALET program has 50 companies as participants. The program provides participating companies assistance from a team of experienced international service providers to help meet their international goals.
