Vera H. Primm has been named chief financial officer at Touchstone Bank.

Primm succeeds Philip Cardwell. She previously was chief financial officer of Citizens Community Bank.

Primm earned her undergraduate degree in mathematics and classical studies from the University of Mary Washington and did postgraduate work in civil engineering.

Touchstone is a community bank with approximately $440 million in total assets based in Prince George.

The bank has 10 branches and one loan center serving Southern and Central Virginia and three branches serving Northern North Carolina.
