Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer announced Friday that Jessica Johnson, a certified commercial investment member (CCIM) with its Southwest Virginia office, has been appointed as the secretary/treasurer of the CCIM Mid-Atlantic Board of Directors for 2021 through 2022.

There are more than 13,000 members worldwide in 50 CCIM chapters — each focused on networking and education for real estate agents who receive the CCIM designation awarded by the CCIM Institute. CCIM candidates must complete courses, pass the CCIM Institute exam, complete an application and pay annual dues to be in a chapter. Johnson also serves as a regional chair for the CCIM Mid-Atlantic Chapter, representing West Virginia and Southwest Virginia.

Johnson joined Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer in 2015 and has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry specializing in both tenant and landlord representation for retail. She also serves Downtown Roanoke Inc. as a board member and economic development committee member.
