Plano, Texas-based Aligned Energy is creating a 26-acre, 180-megawatt data center campus in Ashburn.
When completed, the campus will offer about 880,000 square feet of space, drawing redundant power from two on-site substations to service the IT operations of its customers.
The campus’ initial 80 MW data center will have 370,000 square feet of space. It will be followed by a 510,000-square-foot, 100 MW facility.
Aligned also has data centers in Dallas, Phoenix and Salt Lake City.
