McLean-based Tegna Inc. said Thursday it has completed the acquisition of three television stations. Financial terms of the deal were not announced.
The acquisition of three Sander Media LLC television stations – KGW in Portland, Ore.; WHAS in Louisville, Ky. and KMSB in Tucson, Ariz. – follow approval from the Federal Communications Commission last week.
The stations are part of Tegna Media, the largest independent station group of major network affiliates in the top 25 markets.
Tegna Media has serviced these stations under shared services and similar arrangements since December of 2013.
