Tatum, an Atlanta-based professional and interim services firm, has opened an office in Richmond.
George Boatright, a former director of information technology at Media General, will lead the Richmond office. Enrique Brito, the firm’s leader of corporate advisory services, also will be based in Richmond.
The office is part of Tatum’s mid-Atlantic operations.
Before joining Media General’s corporate staff in 1999 as the director of business services, Boatright served as controller for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, a company subsidiary that is now owned by Berkshire Hathaway.
Brito has led more than 40 merger and acquisition transactions in several countries, including the U.S., Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, and Peru. As the practice leader of corporate advisory services, he is responsible for providing clients with M&A advisory services, capital formation, exit planning and value enhancement implementations.
Tatum also has a Virginia office in Vienna. The firm is a division of Randstad, a global provider of human resources.
