A Crozet based brewer will make its craft beers available in Georgia starting next month. Besides Virginia, Star Hill Brewery distributes its products in North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Tennessee, Washington D.C. and South Carolina.
Starr Hill will offer a limited draft beer selection, leading with their Northern Lights IPA, Grateful Pale Ale and The Love, a Bavarian wheat beer. The brewery also will offer the Georgia market a limited all access draft lineup, showcasing brands like Whiter Shade of Pale Ale and Little Red Roostarr Coffee Cream Stout.
After a 60-day draft-only launch, Starr Hill will offer the same products in package along with its seasonal variety pack series.
Starr Hill will be distributed in the Atlanta area by General Wholesale Beer Co. and by Leon Farmer & Co. in the greater Athens market.
The company was founded in 1999 by Mark Thompson and Kristin Dolan. Star Hill brews more than 15 brands of beer.
