Sotera Defense Solutions names president, CEO

Herndon-based Sotera Defense Solutions has named Deborah Alderson president, CEO, effective July 8, the company announced Monday. Alderson was the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Fairfax-based SRA International. Alderson replaces John Hillen, who according to The Washington Post, stepped down as CEO in May and became vice chairman of Sotera’s advisory board.

Before working for SRA, Alderson was president of the Defense Solutions Group at SAIC in McLean.

Sotera Defense Solutions Inc. is a national security technology company that delivers solutions and services to national security clients.
