Shenandoah University has promoted Vice President for Academic Affairs Adrienne Bloss to become the first provost of the university.
The change is effective Sept. 1.
Bloss began working for Shenandoah in 2013 after serving as associate dean for academic affairs and institutional relations at Roanoke College.
“This title change more fully reflects the full breadth and diversity of academic programming overseen by Dr. Bloss,” Shenandoah University President Tracy Fitzsimmons said in a statement.
