Sheehy Auto Stores is offering free oil changes for federal employees that have been furloughed.
The auto dealership is also offering a 90-day payment deferral program for furloughed federal employees who buy a used or new vehicle.
The free oil change is limited to one per person for people who present their federal ID. No appointments are necessary.
“Many of our long-time customers have been affected by the unfortunate government shutdown,” Vince Sheehy, president of Sheehy Auto Stores, said in a statement. “We want to do what we can to show our support and help those in many of the communities we serve who may need assistance at this trying time.”
