The Peterson Cos. said Wednesday that it’s expanding the offerings at Fairfax Corner, a 300,000-square-foot lifestyle center in Fairfax.

The new stores are Bluemercury, the nation's fastest-growing luxury beauty products and spa retail chain; LOFT, which sells women’s clothing; Potomac River Running and Mensathnasium, a math-tutoring center.

“This mix of new stores offers a variety of sought-after services and products, and we're thrilled they chose Fairfax Corner for their newest locations,” Taylor Chess, president, retail for Peterson Cos., said in a statement.

Bluemercury will open a 1,992-square-foot store in September. The retailer carries skincare and beauty brands like La Mer, Kiehl's and Trish McEvoy.

LOFT reopened with a new concept at Fairfax Corner on Aug. 19.

The 2,332-square-foot Potomac River Running opened its ninth store in the Washington, D.C., area on June 16. The local, family-owned, running specialty store specializes in running and walking footwear, apparel, gear and accessories.

Mathnasium will open a 1,060-square-foot tutoring center in September.
