Steffanie Easter has been appointed vice president of strategy and planning for Reston-based Science Applications International Corp.’s defense systems group, the company announced Wednesday.
Easter joins SAIC with three decades of federal service with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, including as director of the Navy Staff, the highest civilian position in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations. She also provided support to the secretary of the Navy, and was principal deputy and acting assistant secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology. Easter also has worked in aircraft programs in the Navy.
