Arlington-based nonprofit Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) named Michael LaRouche, an executive with Reston-based Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), to its board of directors, INSA announced Thursday.

INSA is a nonpartisan and nonprofit trade association that creates a public-private partnership for intelligence and national security issues. It has more than 160 corporate members and was founded in 1979.

LaRouche is the executive vice president and general manager of SAIC’s National Security Group. He is responsible for intelligence and space community customers, including the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, the Combatant Commands and offices within the Department of Defense. He previously served in leadership positions at space and defense companies including The Raytheon Co., Lockheed Martin Corp. and Hughes Network Systems LLC. 

SAIC employs more than 23,000 people and has pro forma annual revenues of approximately $6.5 billion.
