Atlanta-based Rollins Inc. announced this week plans to acquire PermaTreat Pest Control, a Virginia-based pest control company with more than 100 employees. Rollins would acquire PermaTreat through a tax-free reorganization of PermaTreat's parent, Wilco Enterprises Inc. The all-stock merger is expected to close on Aug. 1.
Rollins is the parent company of Orkin, HomeTeam Pest Defense, Western Pest Services, The Industrial Fumigant Co., and Crane Pest Control, among others. Rollins provides pest control services and protection against termite damage, rodents and insects to more than two million customers around the world.
