Rick Gordon has been named director of Inova Personalized Health Accelerator in Fairfax.
Gordon formerly was founding managing partner at MACH37, a Herndon-based cybersecurity accelerator. While at Mach37, Gordon led investments in 46 companies.
His past experience including serving as vice president of product management at KEYW Corp.; chief operating officer of Lookingglass Cyber Solutions Inc. and CEO of Tovaris. Gordon also served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.
He received an MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
The Inova Personalized Health Accelerator aims to help med-tech entrepreneurs through the early stages of product design, capital formation and commercialization. Inova is a major healthcare system and research institution that serves more than 2 million people each year and has more than 16,000 employees.
