John Luongo has been with the company since 2018 as VP of growth and strategy.

Reston-based software company IndraSoft Inc. promoted John Luongo to chief growth officer, the company announced Thursday.

Luongo joined the company in 2018 and was the vice president of growth and strategy. In his previous role and new role, he will focus on business development and corporate strategy.

Before his time at IndraSoft, Luongo worked for SRA International (now General Dynamics Inc.) as the vice president for capture strategy. 

He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

IndraSoft was founded in 2002 and serves clients including the Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, Department of State, Department of Justice and the U.S. Census Bureau. On Feb. 10, the company was awarded a $43 million contract from the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) to enable data sharing and DevSecOps system integration.
