Rescue Mission purchases Roanoke properties for $1 million

The Rescue Mission has purchased a former bank building and the Ivy Ridge Shopping Mall located on Orange Avenue in Roanoke for $1 million.

According the Poe & Cronk Real Estate Group, the new owner plans to renovate the buildings and open a thrift store and drop off center, which will create 20 new jobs. Cindy Fendley, of Poe & Cronk, represented the purchaser in the transaction.
