Real estate firm Edge names partners for multifamily capital markets group

Ryan Ogden and Jared Emery will lead the division.

Rockville, Maryland-based commercial real estate firm Edge — which has an office in Tysons — named Ryan Ogden and Jared Emery as partners to found the company’s multifamily capital markets group, the firm announced Tuesday. The division will be located at the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Ogden most recently was senior managing director at the New York City-based Newmark Knight Frank’s (NKF) Washington, D.C. office. In his new role, Ogden will recruit professionals for the firm and provide brokerage and advisory services.

He has more than 25 years of experience including his time at NKF and Greenbelt, Maryland-based The Bozzuto Group, where he was managing partner of acquisitions and asset management.

Emery has been with Edge since 2018 overseeing branding and marketing for the company as the director of strategy. He has more than nine years of experience and previously worked for Savills Studley, Cushman & Wakefield, Greysteel and CoStar Group.

 

Edge offers commercial real estate services from four offices including its Tysons, Washington, D.C.; Rockville and Pittsburgh locations. It was founded in 2007 and manages more than 8.5 million square feet of commercial, office, industrial, retail and mixed-use space.
